The first step in the process of creating the Nevelson Assemblage was creating a wooden box. Next, I began to choose pieces of wood that identical or different from a pile of wooden scraps. After, I started to place them in different positions inside on the wooden box. I then compared my coposition to the other students in my class, and began to choose pieces of wood that identified with theirs. As soon as I finished glueing the wooden pieces together, I waited until the next day to paint. Since the classes decision was to paint the compositions different colors of blue, I began to mix a lightish purple blue. After painting my composition, the class's composition was put together tocreate the entire Nevelson Assemblage
The philosophy of Nelveson assemblage was using different scraps of wood to create the style of mimicing. This style of art is built to capture artistic compositions. The collage of this project creates an organic visual. Technique is the most important part of this project because it assemblages produces a three-dimensial creation.
