The first step in creating a biamorphic sculpture, was choosing a wooden block to be the base of the sculpture. After, I cut two wire hangers and began visualize how I might want to shape the wires. In order to have the wires stand on the wooden block, I had drilled five small holes into it. I then began to put the two wires in the different holes of the wooden block. After a lot of tweaking, cutting, and wire movement, my sculpture came into form. I then was able to place a stocking over my project and began to paint over the stocking with white. Lastly, I chose the design of vines, and painted with green and yellow over the white.
The philosophy of the biomorphic sculpture is the use of natural life and organic shapes.
